A study showed that a N95 masks failed after 2 days of use, when used in clinical settings, by professional healthcare providers, who know how to properly don and doff them. So, how long will they be effective for people outside of a clinical setting that don't know the proper procedures or who will just ignore them? I work in a school, I see how high school kids use and wear they masks. I don't see these masks working out for them. This will be a waste of resources and money. We've been masked all school year, students and staff get COVID all the time. Vaccinated are having break through cases too. Masks are not providing the solution that some think they are, especially when so many people don't use them correctly, mishandle them, fumble with them, and touch their faces anyways.
